Meetings, whether they are executive, financial-planning, marketing-planning, board meetings or training sessions, don’t have to be all business, all the time. Corporate events have had a reputation for being predictable, stuffy and boring. But times, and corporate events, are changing. Thanks to the urgent need for employee engagement, corporate events are evolving into engaging and exciting experiences that can enhance team dynamics. Drum Cafe adds a key ingredient to team dynamics: fast connection, clear communication, and a feeling of community and well-being.
Location, food and atmosphere all matter. But an event’s success depends on the experience the group shares.
Never underestimate the impact corporate event entertainment can have on your team dynamics. Team dynamics are crucial to an organization’s success. Without positive team dynamics, a business can’t fully leverage the potential of its employees and tap into their skills and experience.
Our group drum events, for example, are emotionally bonding and the group experience brings to your team a great sense of unity through alignment. Being in flow with colleagues is unforgettable. It also reinforces brand values, the corporate message and employee loyalty, all at once.
Here are five benefits of including entertainment in your next corporate event.
1. Provides Motivation
Entertainment, particularly a type that involves audience participation, can be very inspirational. An experiential activity will help recharge everyone and get them excited about work.
2. Reduces Stress
The happier your staff is, the more effectively they work together professionally. Good entertainment helps guests have fun. When guests have fun, they engage better with others and learn more. The energy of the event increases and the mood becomes a very positive one.
3. Boosts Morale
Hosting a corporate entertainment event is a way to make your employees feel that you value them and appreciate the work they do. Time to relax and have fun away from the usual work setting builds relationships between employees, and with their leaders.
4. Bonding
The best part about entertainment is that it’s a shared experience. Featuring a performance at a meeting automatically gives those present something to talk about.
5. Improves Company Image
The right entertainment will make a positive impression on your guests and will have them talking about what an incredible time they had. These messages will likely spread to potential employees and clients. Many companies have received excellent referrals from their great company culture and events.
